Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992, Adegoke is an infrastructure development and PPP legal Consultant advising both Public and private sector project owners and promoters. He has acted as a Consultant to the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) on Nigerian infrastructure development projects and in this capacity recently served as Legal Adviser to the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) of the Nigerian Federal Government.
Adegoke is highly knowledgeable about the Nigerian electric power industry and leads the TRLPLAW team acting as Legal Advisers and Company Secretary to one of the major Electric Power Companies, operating two Hydro Power Plants in Nigeria.
With over 22 years experience covering litigation and corporate commercial practice, he has both the Public and Private sector perspectives, having served in Government institutions such as the Corporate Affairs Commission and Nigeria Ports Authority as well as in private businesses such as Virgin Technologies (Telecommunications) as General Counsel. He has particular expertise and experience in structuring local and international joint ventures through Partnerships, creation of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), equity investments and mergers. He has also consistently supported and advised SMEs, start-ups and Entrepreneurs throughout his career and has been involved in several success stories in the Nigerian business landscape. As a result of his expertise in this area he was invited in 2011 to join the faculty of the Enterprise Development Centre (Abuja, Nigeria), an initiative of the Pan African University, established to train Entrepreneurs in Nigeria where he still serves till date.
